Mario Minardi received his Master Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Bologna (Italy), in 2020. He has developed his Master Thesis at SES in Betzdorf (Luxembourg), investigating the application of Software Defined Networking and Network Function Virtualization technologies, in the 5G context. His research interests are in software engineering. Mario joined the Signal Processing and Satellite Communications research group, SIGCOM, headed by Prof. Symeon Chatzinotas and Prof. Björn Ottersten and he will be advised by the former.
