The "Azizi Award" 

The Azizi award (named after Judge Josef Azizi, formerly of the General Court of the CJEU) rewards the most meritorious student graduating from the Master en Droit et Contentieux de l’Union européenne. The prize is awarded during the annual graduation ceremony in December.

A committee including the study directors of the programme, Prof. Eleftheria Neframi and Prof. Herwig Hofmann, together with Josef Azizi, selects the winners.

“Berend-Biever” award

The Berend-Biever award (named after the benefactor Joël Berend-Biever) rewards the two most meritorious students of the first year of LL.M. studies who choose the Master en Droit et Contentieux de l’Union européenne specialisation for their second year.

Prize of the “Fondation du Mérite Européen”

The prize of the “Fondation du Mérite Européen” is awarded to the two best Master theses on the topic of European integration by students from the FDEF and FLSHASE.
