Master in Border Studies
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the field of cultural studies, linguistics, literature, intercultural communication, social or spatial sciences.
The programme is limited to 20 students. Selection is based on the application documents which should include a motivation letter, a Curriculum Vitae, certificates and diplomas of previous studies and a proof of written and oral language skills German, French and English.
Courses are taught in German, French and English. For all three languages the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages level of B2 is required.
The online application period for EU students will be closed on 30th June 2023.
The online application period for non-European students will be closed on 30th April 2023.
If you are accepted, registration (and re-registration) at all partner universities is mandatory. Upon presentation of your registration certificate from the University of Luxembourg, registration/re-registration will be exempt from fees at partner universities.
The program starts in September. The introductory module consists of two compulsory courses that take place on weekends: The introductory seminar (06.-07.09.2022) and the 4-day field trip the 13th and 14th September 2022.
