Our former student Lena Schwind, together with our colleague Isabelle Albert, has published an article about friendship networks of university students.

 

Spring 2022

Due to the success of "Trauer an Schulen" Springer publishing house has decided to release an English translation. "Grief in schools" is out now. Congratulations to all student authors!

 

December 2021

This year's Luxembourg Psychological Society (SLP) award is presented by Elke Murdock to Kim Wichmann. Kim Wichmann receives the award for her master's thesis on an "Overview of reviews on body size estimation tasks to measure body image distortion in anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa".

 

July 2021

The Master of Science in Psychology: Psychological Intervention (MSc) has successfully passed the evaluation process of the Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute ACQUIN and was accredited without any conditions.

 

Mai 2021

Sam Bernard, a student in the master's course, delivered this year's graduation speech on May 11 as part of the Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences.

 

April 2021

The book "Trauer an Schulen", written by students of the master's course, has been published by Springer. Many compliments to all authors!

Sonja Mehl, one of our former students, has published an article on resilience in the context of migration and refuge (in German), together with our colleague, Isabelle Albert.

Our student Filip Westerlund was recently interviewed by the Authority Magazine, where he talked about why and how he wants to help to change our world.

 

December 2020

The Luxembourg Psychological Society (SLP) presents the award for the best Master's thesis 2020 to Katharina Barcatta. The award is given to Katharina Barcatta for her work on "The hypoalgesic effect of distraction in virtual reality: the influence of cognitive load, executive functions, pain-related cognitions, and gender differences – an experimental study".

 

Winter 2020

This year, for the first time, the Luxembourg Psychological Society (SLP) is presenting an award for the best Master's thesis in psychology.

 

September 2020

Nora Nicolai, a 3rd semester student, has received a highly endowed scholarship from The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. Congratulations!

 

Summer 2020

Students of the Master's course will soon publish another book with the prestigious Springer publishing house. It will deal with the topic of grief in schools.

 

December 2018

The "Prix Germain Dondelinger" awarded by the Amis de l’Université du Luxembourg to the best students from each Faculty will this year be given to our student Max Zettl. Congratulations!
