The 2021 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), published by the ShanghaiRanking consultancy firm, positions the University of Luxembourg at 601-700 among 2,000 universities in the world. The University maintains its position from 2020, and shares this year’s ranking with institutions like the Universities of Québec (UQAM), Trieste or Udine.
The University ranks 201-300 in the areas Education, Political science, Electrical and electronic engineering, Computer science engineering, Biological sciences and Human biological sciences. In Economics, it ranks 301-400 and in Chemistry and Psychology 401-500.
