Office of Student Life

The Office of Student Life is the service managed by the Student Department (SEVE, Service des études et de la vie étudiante) in charge of supporting and developing student engagement and support the activities of the officially recognised student associations at the University of Luxembourg.

Student Delegation

The mission of the student delegation is to inform the students of the decisions and activities concerning them, represent and defend their interests, communicate on behalf of the students to the governing bodies and entities of the University and to contribute to their daily life by participating in the management of the Office of Student Life.

It is composed of a president and seven members. If you need any support, please contact the student delegation via email or the delegates individually (the contact details and mission description are available on Moodle).

Study Programme Representatives

Volunteering as a Study Programme Representative gives students the opportunity to pass on the feedback of their peers directly to teaching and programme staff.

Student Associations, Student Clubs and Recognised Partners

The University supports various officially recognised student associations and clubs, as well as partners; please consult their list and experience and develop your engagement skills!

Student Lounges

The University has two Student Lounges, on Campus Belval and Kichberg: feel free to come by!

Community Engagement Certificate

Being active on a voluntary basis during your studies offers you the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around you.

It also provides an opportunity to develop your social network, make new friends, and develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge, which will be an asset on your CV.

The University wishes to recognize this voluntary student work with to the Community Engagement Certificate. Please follow this link for further information on the conditions to obtain this certificate.

Buddy Programme

In the Buddy-Programme, first-year students get paired up with students from higher semesters to get help navigating the University.

If you are interested in joining as a Buddy or as a Buddy-guided (= higher-semester student), register for the Buddy programme!
