Learning outcomes
The programme aims to develop knowledge in the field of mediation and skills in the supervision and management of social intervention projects.
- In M1, the student acquires theoretical and practical training in general mediation and conflict resolution.
- In M2, the student specialises in one of the three partner universities.
- At the University of Luxembourg, the M2 is a specialisation in Mediation Engineering. The aim is not only to prepare students for the implementation of mediation projects in different fields (school, social, family, criminal mediation, etc.) but also to manage and evaluate active mediation systems. The programme is French-speaking. Nevertheless, an opening to German-speaking training is planned for certain future courses. As far as M2 is concerned, it is obvious that the exchange and the arrival of foreign students will require English as a complementary language.
- The other partners offer the following specialisations: organisation, family, social (Lyon 2 University); family, school, health, intercultural, administration (University of Murcia).
Job opportunities
Job opportunities depend on the chosen specialisation. Generally speaking, the training allows access to positions that require mediation and conflict resolution skills as well as the ability to set up, supervise and manage social intervention projects.
