Bachelor en Mathématiques

A full Bachelor’s Degree programme in Mathematics in the fundamental branches of Mathematics including Analysis, Algebra, Geometry, Probability Theory and Mechanics. Students have the opportunity to investigate other disciplines closely related to Mathematics, such as Physics, Computer Science and Didactics of Mathematics.

Master en Enseignement Secondaire - Mathématiques

The Master in Secondary Education prepares students to become highly qualified teaching professionals in the Luxembourg school system.

Master in Mathematics

A two-year Master's Degree programme in Mathematics with three tracks from the first year :

• General Mathematics
• Mathematical Modelling and Computational Sciences
• Financial Mathematics

Master of Data Science 

Based on a multidisciplinary approach, the Master of Data Science at the University of Luxembourg provides students with the necessary skills to solve complex problems with data in different contexts. Data scientists are trained as both mathematicians and computer scientists and their unique profile at the intersection of the two disciplines are highly sought.

PhD in Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics offers a high quality PhD programme in collaboration with:

• Doctoral Programme Mathematics and Applications of the Doctoral School in Science and Engineering
• Doctoral Training Unit Geometric and Stochastic Methods (GSM) funded by the Luxembourg National Research Fund under the PRIDE scheme
