Dr. Adrian de Silva

is a postdoctoral researcher with a background in Sociology and Political Science and a PhD in Gender Studies. He is a member of the Institut für Deutsche Sprache, Literatur und für Interkulturalität at the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences of the University of Luxembourg.

Working across political sociology, sociology of law, sexology and political theory, his research engages with processes of minoritising unusual genders and sexualities in contemporary Western state formations and struggles for social change in these areas.
