Dr. Thang X. Vu (in Vietnamese Vũ Xuân Thắng) received the B.Sc and M.Sc in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from VNU University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2007 and 2009, respectively, and the Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University Paris XI, France in January 2014 under the supervision of Prof. Pierre Duhamel and Prof. Marco Di Renzo. From October 2010 to May 2014, he has been working in the Laboratoire de Signaux et Systemes (LSS), a joint Laboratory among Supelec, University Paris XI, and CNRS. From July 2014 to January 2016, he has been with Singapore University of Technology and Design, Singapore. Dr. Vu is now a research associate at SnT, University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg. His research interests are in the field of wireless communications, with particular interests of cache-assisted 5G, cloud radio access networks, resources allocation and optimization, cooperative diversity, channel and network decoding, and iterative decoding.
