A.Secondary school leaver’s certificate (Equivalence)

Any student wishing to enroll in the University of Luxembourg has to make a request for recognition of his graduation from Secondary school leaver’s certificate, if and only if the diploma was not issued by the Ministry of Luxembourg.

University diploma or Higher Education (Registration in the register of titles)

With a view to his definitive enrollment in a master's programme at the University of Luxembourg, any student who does not hold a bachelor's degree corresponding to at least 180 ECTS according to the framework of the Bologna process, issued by a higher education institution located in another Member State of the European Union, in a Member State of the European Economic Area or in a Swiss Confederation recognised by the competent authorities of the State in question and certifying higher education recognised by the same competent authorities, must compulsorily submit an application to register his/her diploma in the register of qualifications, higher education section at the Ministry of Higher Education and Research in Luxembourg.
