The profession of civil engineer is very diverse. Thus, it is required to deal with industrial constructions, towers, roads, motorways, railways, bridges and tunnels, airports, water treatment plants, pipelines and so on.

PRESENTATION

STRENGTHS
The main emphasis of the civil engineering and construction course will be on the static calculations and constructive dimensioning of load-bearing elements of the above-mentioned projects made of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel and wood.
Since all the Bachelor in Engineering (BENG) courses are almost identical at the beginning of the course, it is possible to change orientation without great difficulty if this proves necessary for the student.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma:
- from Luxembourg: « Diplôme de fin d’études secondaires » (classiques ou générales) or « Diplôme de technicien dans la spécialité correspondante avec modules préparatoires »
- or foreign diploma recognised as equivalent by the Luxembourg Ministry of Education
- Languages: level B2 in German mandatory, additionally B1 in French and B1 in English
