Studying at the University of Luxembourg is a uniquely enriching experience. The programmes impart cutting edge knowledge in a highly international, multilingual and distinctly interdisciplinary environment. Small classes ensure direct interaction between students and teaching staff.
The University offers
- 18 Bachelor’s,
- 49 Master’s degrees,
- 18 lifelong learning courses and vocational training opportunities,
- 3 courses for Specialised Studies Diplomas (Diplômes d'Études Spécialisées, DES)
- as well as 4 doctoral schools.
It draws on the knowledge of experts from the business community and international institutions who complement the academic staff to ensure highest-quality teaching. It collaborates with Luxembourg’s financial centre – one of the world’s leading centres – the European Court of Justice, the European Investment Bank and many more.
The three faculties are:
- Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine
- Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance
- Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences
Four doctoral schools offer custom-made training programmes:
- Doctoral School in Science and Engineering (DSSE)
- Doctoral School of Law
- Doctoral School in Economics, Finance and Management (DSEF)
- Doctoral School in Humanities and Social Sciences (DSHSS)
Teaching at the University of Luxembourg is multilingual. The programmes are primarily bilingual (French/English or French/German), some are trilingual, and others are entirely taught in English.
