Studying at the University of Luxembourg is a uniquely enriching experience. The programmes impart cutting edge knowledge in a highly international, multilingual and distinctly interdisciplinary environment. Small classes ensure direct interaction between students and teaching staff. 

 

The University offers

• 18 Bachelor’s,
• 49 Master’s degrees,
• 18 lifelong learning courses and vocational training opportunities,
• 3 courses for Specialised Studies Diplomas (Diplômes d'Études Spécialisées, DES)
• as well as 4 doctoral schools.

It draws on the knowledge of experts from the business community and international institutions who complement the academic staff to ensure highest-quality teaching. It collaborates with Luxembourg’s financial centre – one of the world’s leading centres – the European Court of Justice, the European Investment Bank and many more.

The three faculties are:

• Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine
• Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance
• Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences

Four doctoral schools offer custom-made training programmes:

• Doctoral School in Science and Engineering (DSSE)
• Doctoral School of Law
• Doctoral School in Economics, Finance and Management (DSEF)
• Doctoral School in Humanities and Social Sciences (DSHSS)

Teaching at the University of Luxembourg is multilingual. The programmes are primarily bilingual (French/English or French/German), some are trilingual, and others are entirely taught in English.
