Bachelor of Science in Psychology
Entry requirements for the BAP
- Higher education entrance diploma:
- A higher education entrance qualification i.e. the Luxembourgish "Diplôme de fin d'études secondaires" or an equivalent diploma are a prerequisite for the BAP study programme.
- Applicants with a non-Luxembourgish secondary school leaving certificate (or a secondary school leaving certificate not issued by the "Ministère de l'Education Nationale du Luxembourg") must apply to the Luxembourg Ministry of Education ("Ministère de l'Éducation nationale, de l'Enfance et de la Jeunesse") for equivalence of their certificate. The recognition certificate does not need to be provided at the time of application, but will have to be handed in to the “Service des Etudes et de la Vie Etudiante“ (SEVE) before courses start. Please take care of it in time: the procedure may take several weeks. Further information on the recognition of a non-Luxembourgish secondary school leaving certificate can be found here:

- Language skills:
- The “Bachelor of Science in Psychology” a trilingual programme in the sense that courses are taught in German as well as in French and in English. Most of our courses are taught in just one of those three languages. We do not offer different language versions of one and the same course. It would not be possible for our students to complete the programme, if they chose courses in just one or two languages.
- Therefore we require good or very good knowledge of the French, German and English language. You should have at least a C1-level in German according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) as well as at least a B2-level in French and English.
- If your language skills are not proven (e.g. by your school leaving certificate), you should add the corresponding language certificates to your application. The language certificates can be handed in until the start of the academic year.
- Please contact us if you have any questions about the language requirements.
