STRENGTHS
The programme addresses the need for highly-skilled engineers versatile in the digital aspects of the classic engineering branches of electrical, mechanical and civil engineering. Parallel to an entry level education in these engineering branches the focus of digital engineering is more on IT related subjects, e.g. programming, computer aided design, geospatial technologies and building information modelling. University-level education in these areas underpins the digitalisation processes in the various engineering fields and supports applications in manufacturing, energy generation and distribution, sustainable cities and 3D reality capture.
Since all the Bachelor in Engineering (BENG) courses are almost identical at the beginning of the course, it is possible to change orientation without great difficulty if this proves necessary for the student.
