
Formation Spécifique en Médecine Générale
The Formation Spécifique en Médecine Générale (FSMG) at the University of Luxembourg is a specialised professional qualification aimed at authorising the practice of general medicine. It is given on a full-time basis and lasts at least three years. It may be organised on a part-time basis, in whole or in part, without the total duration, level and quality of the training being less than that of full-time training.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Master's degree in medicine awarded by a Member State of the European Union
- Language skills: B2 in French and German
- National of a Member State of the European Union or the European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) or Switzerland
REGISTRATION
Online registration from May to June
25 places are open for registration. If the capacity is exceeded, a ranking competition will be held. The ranking competition includes :
- a written test on the knowledge of French and German
- a written test on general medical knowledge
An introduction and information day is organised in September 2021 on the Limpertsberg campus. The presence of all new candidates admitted after the selections is required.
