Communication

The LCSB communication team is composed of people, all having a degree in science, communication, or both. This combination of backgrounds and skills is instrumental in helping scientists to communicate research to a wider public and to do it in an innovative and engaging manner, while being accurate and faithful to the evidence. The team members design and coordinate communication activities to foster interest in the research topics tackled by the LCSB researchers. They translate rather complicated scientific results into fascinating and easy to understand stories. Beside editorial work and creation of communication material, the team is in charge of press relations, organizing of scientific conferences and seminars, setting up team activities, as well as developing outreach events. The long-term objective is to support the branding of the LCSB and raise awareness about science. Science achieves more if it gets out of the lab, let’s communicate about it.
