100% renewable energy in Luxembourg – Is it possible?

During this lecture, Dr Phillip Dale, associate professor in the Energy Materials laboratory of the University of Luxembourg, will give an overview on energy.

Do you know how much energy you use personally every day? Do you know how many photovoltaic modules are required to cover that use renewably? Does Luxembourg have the resources to go 100% renewable? It is easy to say we want renewable energy to power our lives, but we need to check if it is physically possible.

This interactive lecture will tackle all these questions, as well as the concepts of energy consumption and generation. To facilitate the discussion, the participants will also get to carry out an energy audit of their own life!

This training will be in English and the lecture will be followed by a discussion.

If possible, participants should bring a a web enabled device.
