Shedding light on many meanings of “epigenetics”

(registration open – 50 seats available)

During this lecture, Dr Lasse Sinkkonen, head of the epigenetics group at the Life Science Research Unit of the University of Luxembourg, will give an overview of epigenetic. He will explain the history of the term and detail the different mechanisms of epigenetic regulation. He will also present current research in the field of epigenetic and the link with different diseases such as Parkinson´s Disease or several rare diseases (Angelman syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome).

The lecture will be followed by a discussion with the participants.
