In changing times, the BUL keeps you informed on the most important topics.

On 29th March 2017, British Prime Minister Theresa May signed a letter that already, today, seems to have historic significance. Announced roughly 9 months ago, the letter triggers a process that leads to Britain's exit from the European Union.

In the Limpertsberg Library, you will find some of our new acquisitions on this topic.

The books cover several themes in the field of political science and law:

  • The legal consequences of Brexit for both private and EU economic law;
  • The political backgrounds of the Leave campaign's shock victory;
  • The changes in the British political system;
  • The traditional English euroscepticism and the history of the difficult relations between the United Kingdom and the continental countries

are some of the issues covered in this bibliographic exhibition.

All books in this display are available for loan and can be also reserved via our catalogue www.a-z.lu.
