As of 8 November the access conditions to the LLC will be eased, following the validation of a special protocol established by the University for on-site teaching by the Luxembourg health authorities. The number of available workspaces will be increased from 300 to 800 and it will no longer be necessary to book in advance.

As of 8 November, the LLC welcomes you under near pre-pandemic conditions.

  • Free entry to the LLC
  • Free access to all public areas and collections
  • End of mandatory reservation of workspaces

Students and staff of the University of Luxembourg can book the individual CUBE workspaces and the collaborative Group Work workspaces in advance via the App Affluences.  Further details on the reservation of these spaces can be found on our website.

The following sanitary measures still apply during your visit to the LLC to ensure the safety of all:

  • Wearing a mask is mandatory at all times during your stay at the LLC, including when you are seated at your workspace. It is therefore no longer possible to eat inside the LLC.
  • Disinfecting products are available for users who wish to disinfect their workplaces.
  • Hydro-alcoholic gel stations are available at the entrance of the building and in public areas of the library.
  • Washing or disinfecting of hands is mandatory before touching the books on the shelves.
  • Sanitary measures are on display at the entrance of the LLC. Please follow the posted regulations as well as all instructions from LLC staff.  Non-compliance with the sanitary regulations may result in penalties.
