Partial reopening from Monday, May 25th

From Monday 25 May the LLC continues to gradually resume its activities: part of the workspaces and services are available again.

The building is open from Monday 25 May to Friday from 10.00 to 17.00, exclusively for students and members of the University of Luxembourg.

On site at the LLC, you can: 

  • Borrow books previously reserved via www.a-z.lu
  • Return borrowed books
  • Work individually
  • Borrow a laptop
  • Use Computers
  • Use printing services
  • Access ILNAS and Bloomberg stations
  • Withdraw orders for research projects

It is not possible to:

  • Access the shelves
  • Work in groups

The work places can be accessed by presenting a student or staff card of the University of Luxembourg. On arrival, please see the librarian who will assign you a work space.

Wearing a mask is mandatory during your work session.

How to prepare your book reservations and how to pick them up?

  • You reserve the books in a-z.lu, using your library number and password.
  • An e-mail confirmation informs you that the order is ready for pick-up.
  • After receiving the confirmation e-mail, you can pick up your books at the LLC and borrow them using the lending machines.

Please note that there may be limited availability for certain books or sometimes a longer waiting period.
