Register and borrow
Registration
Registration is free and open to anyone aged 16 or over.
Library cards are issued in the Welcome Zone of the Luxembourg Learning Centre (LLC) during library services hours from 08.00 to 17.00 (not possible Saturdays between 12:00 and 13:00, and no registrations on sundays).
Students and PhD students of the university

Register at the Welcome Zone of the LLC by presenting your student card (which will also become your library card). Your registration is valid for the duration of your studies. |
Professors, researchers, administrative and technical staff of the university

Download the registration form available via the intranet (ULI/The University/LLC) or register (with your UNI badge) in person at the information desk in the LLC Welcome Zone. |
External users

Residents of Luxembourg and the Greater Region (Belgian, French or German border areas*) can register in person at the Welcome Zone of the LLC. A form of identification is required. |
By registering with the University Library, you agree to abide by the LLC by-law.
User account and password
All registered users can use the home loan and online services offered by the Luxembourg library catalogue, www.a-z.lu
In order to log in on www.a-z.lu you need to click on "Sign in" (1x) at the top. Then you can log in with your user number (under the barcode on your library card / student card) and your password.
To create your password, click (1x) on “Sign in” in the upper right corner and then on “Forgot password?”.
Please use the same e-mail address as in your library account.
A link to reset will be send to this address.
* the “Province of Luxembourg” and Eastern Belgium (Eupen and Saint-Vith), part of the the Moselle, of the Meurthe and Moselle and the Meuse regions in France, the region around Trier and the Saarland in Germany.
