Sites

The rectorate, the administration, the faculties and the interdisciplinary centres of the University of Luxembourg are located on various sites which have their own history.


Belval Campus The former Belval steel production site, shut down in 1997, is today the University of Luxembourg's main campus. The historic “Bâtiment central” was built in 1903 on behalf of the Franciscan Order and was used as a college for Luxembourg’s Catholic priests from 1926 to 1972.
