Dimitrios Kafteranis joined the DTU REMS as a PhD candidate under the supervision of Associate Prof. Silvia Allegrezza in January 2017. Dimitrios studied English language and literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and completed a Master in European and International Studies at the University of Makedonia (Greece). He graduated with an LL.M. in European Economic and Financial Criminal Law from the University of Luxembourg in 2016. During his studies, he held several student jobs, for example at the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg and the Centre for Research in Economics and Management (CREA) at the University of Luxembourg. Prior to joining the DTU REMS, Dimitrios was a trainee and assistant of Judge Michail Vilaras at the CJEU.
