Zoé van Dyck is a post-doctoral researcher in clinical psychology within the Institute of Health and Behaviour.
She studied psychology at the Free University of Brussels (Belgium) and the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), where she received her Master’s Degree with a major in clinical psychology and health psychology in 2010. In 2016, she completed her PhD entitled “The Role of External and Internal Stimuli in the Regulation of Eating Behaviour” at the University of Luxembourg.
Since 2016, she is also working as a clinical psychologist at the Department of Psychosomatics at the MEDIAN Hospitals in Daun, Germany, and she is pursuing psychotherapy training at the University of Trier (Germany).
Her research foci include
- Interoceptive processes in eating disorders
- Attentional processing of food cues
- Food decision-making and overeating
- Psychophysiological research methods
Dr. Zoé van Dyck is currently involved in several research projects at the University of Luxembourg
- Emotional, Restrained and Bulimic Eating in Lab and Daily Life (EMO-EAT)
- Breathing Spaces’: Relating to Nature in the Everyday and its Connections to Health and Well-Being (BREATH)
