Marian van der Meulen is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Luxembourg since 2011. She holds an MSc degree in biology from the University of Utrecht, received her PhD degree in cognitive neuropsychology from the University of Edinburgh and worked as a postdoc in cognitive neuroimaging at the University of Geneva. In her current research, she uses functional brain imaging (fMRI) to study neuropsychological processes related to pain perception. Her main research interests are

  • brain imaging techniques
  • clinical neuropsychology
  • memory and cognition
  • pain processing
