Martha Fernandez de Henestrosa is a PhD student working at the Department of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences.
She completed her Master’s degree in Psychology: Psychological Intervention (health domain) at the University of Luxembourg. In 2019 she started her PhD project in the field of occupational health psychology/work psychology under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Georges Steffgen. In her doctoral project, she focuses on the nature of job demands and their effects on employees’ mental health outcomes.
Among her research interests are topics such as the nature and categorization of job characteristics, risk and resilience promoting factors within the workplace, stress appraisal, quality of work, burnout and work-engagement.
