CNS Lab

Research in the CNS Laboratory aims at better understanding cognitive processes such as number processing, working memory and attention.

We investigate the behaviour and neural mechanisms underlying these processes from childhood over adolescence to adulthood and old age. We use computer-based behavioral tests as well as Electro-Encephalography (EEG) and Event-Related Potentials (ERPs) to pursue our research goals. More punctually we also run functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) studies in collaboration with the Maastricht Brain Imaging Centre (http://mbic.unimaas.nl).

Our laboratory facilities are located on the Campus Belval.
