Cross-border work in Europe: regional practices and realities

International conference in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg
May 5 and 6, 2022

The colloquium is aimed at all researchers and economic and social actors from the various cross-border areas of Europe. We invite presentations on the situation of cross-border employment in Northern, Eastern, Southern and Central Europe, as well as in micro-states.

The questions we wish to address during this conference fall under 4 themes:

  • Legal aspects related to the presence of a border between the country of residence and the country of  employment;
  • The economic aspects;
  • Questions related to the socio-cultural practices of these workers;
  • The territorial impacts of these border flows.

You can find more information on the conference in the call for papers (EN/FR).
