Emily is a researcher at the Institute for Research on Socio-Economic Inequality (IRSEI) since March 2020. Prior to joining the University of Luxembourg, she worked at the University of Oxford and the University of Zürich. She received her PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Lausanne (NCCR LIVES, 2015), her MSc in Sociology from Oxford University, and her BA in Business, Economics and Social Studies from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.

Research field: Economic sociology

Research interests: Education; inequality, labour markets; longitudinal research; occupations; social policy; skill development over the life course; social stratification and mobility.
