Rachel Wollschläger finished her studies of psychology at the University of Trier, Germany, and the Università di Pisa, Italy, in 2012 focusing on psychological assessment and educational psychology. Thereafter, Rachel worked at the centre for social paediatrics in Trier (SPZ Trier) before she continued her postgraduate studies at the University of Trier. In December 2016, Rachel completed her PhD on diagnostic competencies of primary school teachers and joined the LUCET at the beginning of 2017.
At LUCET, Rachel coordinates the test development laboratory (TD_Lab), which aims at developing state-of-the-art research-based assessment instruments and regroups the centre’s core methodological expertise, as well as the large-scale statistics laboratory (LSS_Lab), which focuses on analysing and visualising (longitudinal) large-scale assessment data and regroups the centre’s expertise in advanced statistical methods.
