Hungpu Chou received his PhD degree from National Taiwan University, in 2013. His research interests are in channel coding and precoding theory (including RS, BCH, LDPC, Polar code and RLL code) and its applications for storage systems, wireless communications, and satellite communications systems. He also focuses on its digital circuit design, VLSI, and FPGA implementation. After 2022, he gained his research interest in quantum cryptography and trusted computing to pursue the ultimate goal of TRUST. Hungpu joined the Signal Processing & Satellite Communications research group, SIGCOM, headed by Prof. Symeon Chatzinotas.
