Mahdis Jalali received her Master's degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Iran, in 2016, where she was a research assistant at the Microwave/Millimeter-Wave and Wireless Communication Research Lab. Before joining SnT she worked as a telecommunication researcher at the Center for Space Research, Tehran, Iran. Her research interests include wireless communication technologies, satellite communications, resource management, and machine learning approaches for wireless communication systems. Mahdis joined the Signal Processing & Satellite Communications research group, SIGCOM, headed by Profs. Symeon Chatzinotas and Björn Ottersten and she will be advised by Dr. Eva Lagunas.
