Marcello Ceci obtained his PhD diploma in Legal Informatics, from the University of Bologna (Italy), in 2013. He has a working experience as a researcher and he comes most recently from the University College Cork, Ireland. His research interests include -amongst other- legal knowledge management, legal ontologies, technologies for risk and compliance management in the financial sector (often called FinTech/RegTech). Marcello joined the Software Verification and Validation group, V&V Lab, headed by Prof. Lionel Briand.
