Mohammad Ansarin is a Research Associate in the FINATRAX group, headed by Professor Gilbert Fridgen. He contributes to multiple projects in the energy domain, on subjects including demand response, industrial flexibility, power market forecasting, electric mobility, and climate change risks.
Mohammad received a PhD degree in 2021 from Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands). His thesis was on the economic consequences of retail electricity pricing in the renewable energy era. Previously, he received a MSc in biomedical engineering (Koc University, Turkey) and a BSc in mechanical engineering (Sharif University of Technology, Iran).
