Mostafa SAMY received his Master’s degree from the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) in 2022. His research interests are in Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces Technology, simultaneous transmitting and reflecting reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (STAR-RISs), Mathematical Optimization & Analysis of Future Wireless Systems, Evolutionary & Meta-heuristic Algorithms for Beamforming Optimization and Cooperative Relaying Full-Duplex Networks. Mostafa joined the Signal Processing & Satellite Communications research group, SIGCOM, headed by Prof. Symeon Chatzinotas.
