Rawan Akkouch has a background in Economics and received her Master’s degree in Energy Studies at the American University of Beirut (Lebanon) in 2021. Before joining SnT, Rawan worked as a research assistant at the American University of Beirut. Her research interests are in energy flexibility, demand response, the efficiency and optimization of energy systems, understanding of different energy markets and energy modeling. Rawan joined the Digital Financial Services and Cross-Organizational Digital Transformations research group, FINATRAX, headed by Prof. Gilbert Fridgen
