Saed Daoud received his PhD degree from Concordia University (Montréal, Canada), in 2015. His research interests are in wireless communication focusing on physical-layer technologies, including small-scale and large-scale multiple-input multiple-output, cooperative diversity and relay-assisted systems, orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing, single-carrier frequency-domain equalization, cognitive radio systems among others, and their applications over different channel models and characteristics. Saed joined the Signal Processing & Satellite Communications research group, SIGCOM, headed by Prof Symeon Chatzinotas.
