Sallam ABUALHAIJA received her PhD degree in Computer Science / Computational Linguistics from Hamburg University of Technology - Hamburg, Germany, in 2016. Her research interests are interdisciplinary combining natural language processing with other applied fields like requirements engineering, focusing on information extraction, text understanding & ambiguity. Sallam has worked as a post-doc researcher at L3S research centre in Hanover, Germany, on the topics of social media analysis, and query generation for web archiving. She has joined the Software Verification and Validation group – V&V Lab headed by Prof. Lionel Briand.
