Eve Lejot is a Senior Lecturer in Applied Linguistics and Language Teaching (Academic French). She is the coordinator for the French courses integrated in the Study programs at the University of Luxembourg. She supervises the Erasmus+ project LCGR (Language Centre Greater Region.

She joined the University of Luxembourg in May 2014. Together with Katrien Deroey and Birgit Huemer she has established the University’s Language Centre under the supervision of  Prof. Adelheid Hu and Prof. Michel Margue. For her research she is attached to the Research Unit Identités, Politiques, Sociétés, Espaces (IPSE).

She has developed and taught French Academic Writing, Multilingual and Intercultural Communication workshops for Bachelor, Master and PhD students. She teaches as well "language teaching with new technologies" for Master students.

She has been awarded her PhD in Linguistics within a French-German cotutelle at the Sorbonne Nouvelle and at the Hamburg University. She analysed the multilingual practices at Airbus and the Unesco in Hamburg. She also has an MA in Language Didactics and Intercultural Communication at the Sorbonne Nouvelle.

Before joining the University of Luxembourg, Eve Lejot was a lecturer at universities in the US (Bucknell University), Germany (Hamburg, Lüneburg), France (Nancy, Nantes), Cyprus (Nicosia) and Luxembourg. She worked as well for ten years as Intercultural Communication and Language trainer in the Industry and Diplomacy Milieus. Main references are multinational companies such as Capgemini, Airbus, Thyssenkrupp as well as the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, the UNESCO, the consulate of Finland and the tribunal of the Law of the Sea.
