Diploma

Diplomas and certificates of study are issued by the SEVE.

The diplomas are generally issued to students during the official commencement ceremony.

HOW CAN I RECEIVE MY DEGREE CERTIFICATE IF I AM UNABLE TO ATTEND THE CEREMONY?
You can pick up your degree certificate at the SEVE from 18 December onwards at the SEVE office admission. Please take an appointment through the application "Affluences", select the University of Luxembourg, then "Student Administration" and "RV inscription SEVE".
If you cannot pick up your certificate at the SEVE in person, you may ask someone else to do so for you. This person will need a letter of proxy and a copy of your ID.
If you are abroad, please contact graduation@uni.lu and indicate your new address.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE ANY OUTSTANDING DEBTS WITH THE UNIVERSITY?
Degree certificates will only be issued on condition that you have no outstanding debts with the University of Luxembourg (library, housing, etc.).
You will still be able to attend your graduation ceremony, but you will only receive your degree certificate once you have cleared your debts.

HOW CAN I GET A CERTIFIED COPY OF MY DEGREE CERTIFICATE?
Please go to Admission’s office with your original degree certificate.
Please take an appointment through the application "Affluences", select the University of Luxembourg, then "Student Administration" and "RV inscription SEVE".

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF THERE IS A MISTAKE ON MY DEGREE CERTIFICATE?
Please contact graduation@uni.lu by email.
A new degree certificate will be printed. Please note that this may take up to one month.

I HAVE LOST MY DEGREE CERTIFICATE. CAN I GET A NEW ONE?
If you have lost your diploma, please write to graduation@uni.lu. A statement will be issued to you.
