Purpose

The purpose of the Course feedback questionnaire is:

  • to contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality learning experiences for all students;
  • to establish an easily accessible and regularly occurring space for constructive feedback;
  • to provide students with an opportunity to reflect on their learning progress and study experiences and raise concerns when necessary; and
  • to give instructors a better understanding of what works and what does not work in their course(s).

The questionnaire

The Course feedback questionnaire consists of twenty-four questions, plus two background questions to gather demographic information.

The questionnaire is available in English, French and German. Download the list of questions and answers in PDF format here.

The Course feedback questionnaire (formerly referred to as Course evaluation) was first implemented at the University in the academic year 2009/2010.

  • Since the summer semester 2020, the University has been using a single data collection platform.
  • Since the winter semester 2021, all three Faculties have used the same online questionnaire to collect student feedback.
