Bachelor en Cultures Européennes - Histoire

Language requirements

The Bachelor en Cultures Européennes is a trilingual programme that actively promotes multilingualism and code-switching between languages. Although you can apply and complete the programme with bilingual combinations of French and German or French and English, we encourage you to take this opportunity to learn and study in a third language.

Step 1

Verified language skills

The Bachelor en Cultures Européennes – Histoire is a trilingual programme. The first language (French, German) needs to be C1 level at minimum and the second and third languages (French, German, English) at B2 level (under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Attention: International applications (Non-EU diploma) must contain proof of proficiency in the languages of instruction in the programme (please consult our guidelines about the Language Requirements for International/Non-EU Students).

For further information on the general language requirements for admission at the University of Luxembourg, please refer to https://wwwen.uni.lu/students/information_by_topic/required_language_skills

If your language competency is not verified through language qualifications and you have further questions about this, please contact admission.bce@uni.lu.
