Doctoral school of law

The doctoral school of law of the University of Luxembourg has a strong focus on and openness towards Europe and the international domain.

Various agreements provide the following advantages:

  • The writing of co-supervised theses,
  • Promoting student mobility in terms of placements and exchanges within the existing networks,
  • Facilitating PhD students’ participation in doctoral meetings, at which they have the opportunity of scientific and intellectual exchange with other PhD students and lecturers from various countries.

The doctoral school is developing its cooperation with the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for International, European and Regulatory Procedural Law.

The doctoral school encourages PhD students to seek a research placement at a research centre abroad during their studies.
