Bachelor en Enseignement MusicalThe Bachelor in Music Teaching is aimed at students who are passionate about music and wish to teach in a formal (e.g., conservatoires, music school) or non-formal (e.g., childcare, elderly home) educational context in Luxembourg or beyond. Content of the programmeStudents will be trained in the pedagogical, methodological and didactic aspects of music teaching and will become familiar with the different contexts and forms of formal, non-formal and informal music teaching. Practical training is provided by the partner Conservatoires. Students must choose between one of the following three specialisations:

Courses are strongly student-centered, with a particular emphasis on individual supervision: students are assigned a personal academic tutor for the duration of their studies. During each semester, students learn to put into practice the content learned during the internships, which vary in length and pedagogical focus. Fieldwork begins with an understanding of the specific learning and teaching contexts of music education and progresses towards the planning of long-term learning and teaching sequences. The selection is based on the application file, a letter of motivation, a personal interview and, if necessary, an audition.
