What we offer our students

The Bachelor in Animation is a
2-year curriculum that awards
students with the equivalent credits
of a 3-year programme (180 ECTS).
The programme is designed by the
University of Luxembourg
Competence Centre and the Lycée
des Arts et Métiers (LAM) and
hosted by the Faculty of
Humanities, Education and Social
Sciences (FHSE).

The programme aims at giving students the means to master the fundamental techniques to enter the animation industry in Luxembourg or on an international level.
Theoretical courses are coupled with project-based learning modules taught by a roster of industry professionals with first-hand production and film-making experience in animation.

Successful graduates can aspire
to enter the industry in junior
roles such as animator, modeler,
texturing, lighting, layout artist or
generalist or continue their
studies to a Master degree.
To apply, candidates must have
acquired at least 60 ECTS from
the BTS of Animation or BTS of
Game Art/Game Design in
Luxembourg or from an
equivalent animation/game art or
visual design programme.
