More about the programme

This programme is aimed at a wide range of participants concerned with municipal and regional planning issues in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, i.e. participants from public administrations, planning offices, associations and the private sector. It is aimed in particular at architects, urban planners, geographers and others (with a university degree) and engineers (relevant professional experience is required).

The programme provides thematic and legal foundations, methods for the production, processing and visualisation of spatial data; and animation and mediation techniques for planning processes. Each module ends with a test of the acquired knowledge. The lecturers are experienced professionals in the field of spatial planning and administration.

This programme fulfils the criteria of the articles concerning additional training in the Law on the Right of Establishment (amended Law of 2 September 2011 on the Right of Establishment), as continuing education alone does not allow access to the profession of an urban planner.

Certificate:
All participants who have successfully completed the course will receive a certificate from the University of Luxembourg indicating the number of hours and the details of the course content.
