The Master in Legislative Studies provides students with an in-depth knowledge of decision-making and legislative processes.

Future graduates will acquire practical skills related to public engineering, design and evaluation of public policy. They will develop the ability to deal with demographic, economic, societal and scientific configurations requiring the intervention of the legislator and all the public and private institutions that participate in its production within the framework of Governance.

What do we offer our students?

A multidisciplinary programme

The lectures and seminars are delivered by both academics and practitioners, specialised in public administration, law, ethics, geography, philosophy, polytechnics, political science and sociology.
This multidisciplinary approach allows students to prepare for the complex issues and challenges of legislative processes are facing.

Excellence in teaching

The Master in Legislative Studies operates under the auspices of the Chair in Legislative Studies of the Chamber of Deputies of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, at the University of Luxembourg and in collaboration with the 92 Parliaments of the Assemblée Parlementaire de la Francophonie and the European Parliament.

Tailor-made studies

The programme is a blend of theoretical and practical approaches geared towards securing the employability of future graduates as they chose their career paths, either in the public or private sector. Students benefit from tailor-made studies driven by internship theses and/or research projects.
