The programme covers theory and methods in core domains of psychology reflecting particular research strengths within the Department of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences.

What do we offer our students?

A broad-based training covering:
  • clinical psychology, including both mental disorders in adults and children, interviewing and intervention techniques
  • health psychology, focusing on theoretical aspects of health promotion and risks as well as methods to assess psychological and biological indicators relevant for health
  • media psychology, cultural psychology and school psychology
Outstanding research facilities

Students have access to state-of-the-art equipment for their research projects. Researchers from the Department of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences support and advise students in all areas, from the experimental set-up to data-analysis.

A mix between theory and practice

The programme combines a solid theoretical training
with practical work experience. Students gain research practice during lab work. During
a 3-month internship in a professional work setting, they have the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice and further develop their professional skills.
